An incredible opportunity opened up to go to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in February 2007. In December, my pastor announced that President Girma Wolde-Giorgis of Ethiopia would be attending our church in March. I knew that I needed to go over and document his country to provide a backdrop for his attendance.
I stayed with the director of Bright Hope Organization; an NGO based in the capital. While there, I documented the culture, beauty and economic standing of the country. I also had the honor of doing presidential portraits!
It is interesting traveling and seeing the many faces of beauty! The beauty here was outstanding; enjoy this glimpse into Ethiopia!
